Yeah, Asian-American men are sexy! Why does Buzzfeed even need to convince us that Asian-American men are sexy? Ah, right, because we as a society have somehow been misinformed about Asian-American men through persistent myths and caricatures in the media and in our daily lives. You mean Asian-American men are like regular guys, too?
Hi Christelyn, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Tim and I recently saw a Youtube video you had posted wherein you interviewed Asian men and Black American women in NYC about their thoughts regarding interracial dating and marriage.
Originator of the iconic listicle, with over million audience members worldwide, BuzzFeed continues to dominate media in the millennial era. I happen to know first-hand how pervasive this content is to my generation, as BuzzFeed was as much a staple of my undergrad experience as all-nighters, boxed wine, and Cup-o-Noodles. BuzzFeed evolved with me.
Beyond Nyan Cat gifs and listicles of buns on dogs , BuzzFeed addressed privilege , BuzzFeed uncovered truths , and BuzzFeed developed journalistic integrity that even became recognized by mainstream media outlets. As a young millennial trying to build my own legitimacy in the mainstream world, I felt like we were all BuzzFeed. So when I realized why one of the most popular series produced by BuzzFeed was incredibly problematic, I felt compelled to raise awareness on a practice of xenophobia and racism.
The reactions can range from astounded delight to disgust and ridicule. In the years since its inception, these videos have racked up tens of millions of views. It has spurned numerous spin off series where people from other countries try American foods for the first time. Balut is native to the Philippines and are a delicacy common to many Southeast Asian countries. Rufus Winnfield “You know, walk the earth, meet people Once back in her journalistic safe space, she decides to commit her harrowing ordeal of feminist triumph to the Internet, and that event, along with whatever accompanying train of thought it may or may not have had, will be our topic on this one. Brantz has done something similar. Apparently her being-a-sex-object-while-refusing-to-be-a-sex-object was not satisfied by the bikini romp, so she decides to go to a nude beach, and NOT be a sex object there, while being totally naked and reading a book by Jessica Valenti titled what else but Sex Object.
Her bikini story is some sort of eating disorder mish-mash that culminates in an extremely pale, plain girl in an ugly bikini eating cheese balls on a park bench. Who takes pants to the beach? I wonder, as she descends further away from hitting the Wall, what will she do and write about for her birthday next year? Will she go hold down a street corner someplace and take a few dicks in an evening just to prove someone out there would still hit that?
You want rated as a sex object? We can do that. Here at Return Of Kings, we know that the modern woman does not want to be regarded as a sex object, except when she wants to be regarded as a sex object. Brantz clearly wants her SMV validated so that she can then be empowered by rejecting it, we must do our civic duty by helping her. Why must she try so hard for approval just so she can deny it? What sort of amphetamine is her hamster on, anyway?

Ah, right, because we as a society have somehow been misinformed about Asian-American men through persistent myths and caricatures in the media and in our daily lives. You mean Asian-American men are like regular guys, too? Our current perspective on Asian-American men must be pretty screwed up if we need to be assured that Asian-American men are—ya know—average.
So why is it so hard out there for Asian-American men? I scoured the Internet for reliable studies regarding penis sizes. Seriously, any research based on self-reported data, well, is not real research.

I like to think of myself as a decent human being. I buy drinks for my friends when we go out. I help others when they’re going through tough times. I treat animals kindly. If I could jump off the screen right now, I’d go and make us both a big bowl of popcorn just so we could sit down and enjoy it together. In short, I’m the kind of guy that others refer to as “nice. They’d ask me to pick them up when they’d missed the last bus, they’d ask me to loan them money when they were in a jam, and they’d ask me to bring snacks in the middle of the night.
And since I’m nice, I was always happy to help. Unfortunately, none of the women I put myself out for were ever interested in reciprocating. Help was suddenly unavailable whenever I was the one who needed it. This wouldn’t bother me so much except for the fact that refusing requests to be exploited was always met with a wall of disapproval.
Guys like me were brought up to believe that if we always tried our best, and were beacons of kindness and generosity in a world filled with thugs and cads, we would inevitably find a girl who would love us and accept us for who we were. Instead, those traits seemed to disqualify me from any sort of romantic arrangement, and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone here.
